Were here to eat on vacation and reserved a table a second time. I really enjoy being "at the Italians", but I ate my best "Rigatoni al Forno" here. It was really something special. My companions had pizza and loved it too. Of course I had to propose a tiramesu now. A little more alcohol moisture would still be good, but the taste was really very, very good. It's a shame that this pizzeria is not in my place of residence.

Friendly welcome and service. However, at least my pizza was not satisfactory. I ate much better at other people's. That's why only 3 stars. But maybe next time it will be better. 2nd chance still exists.

Nice place, very nice and elegant, welcoming and relaxing environment, kind and fast service. Prices slightly above average, but justified by the high quality of raw materials which is reflected in the authenticity of the flavors. The pizza did not meet my tastes, however, which I found undercooked inside and a little soggy.

Since there is nothing to eat in Leutasch on Monday, we drove to Mittenwald to get something to eat. We ended up at Mamma Lucia, nice service, good food, the pizzas taste good, my Spagetti Venus mussels was very tasty. Always my pleasure

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to after a week spent in this region of Germany. The customer service was quick & friendly, and the food was absolutely full of flavour. The lasagna was one of the best I’ve tasted - and I’ve been to Italy. Highly recommended!!

we were there 3 nights in a row and were even impressed on the last day by the nice service, the delicious food ... we had pasta, various pizzas, vitello tonnato, starters, dessert and everything was delicious. We really have nothing to complain about.

Super good Italian restaurant. We often order to take away but also like to sit in the restaurant. All dishes are really good and the staff are totally friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit.

We picked it because, well, my name is Lucia too! And we made a great choice! Pasta was amazing, just what we needed ? We couldn't resist the tiramisu on the menu, very good. Finally, lemoncello to close the meal and it was all right.

Amazing food and service

My favourite restaurant in Mittenwald. I eat there every night when I am in Mittenwald. Good pizza baked in a real wood heated stone oven. Other good dishes. Gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce. Lasagne. Antipasti, salads and some classic italian desserts?

Primary Pizza

I like to eat Italian. I have to admit that I haven't had such a good pizza in a very long time. The batter is fantastic. In addition, baking is done here in a stone oven. You can taste this. The service is very friendly. We sat outside and despite moving through a little storm everything was very well under control. We would love to come back.

Nice Italian food

This is a family run business for over 25 years. They bring all their products from Italy, and the quality shows. Their portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. We drive from north of Munich for their food.

We have often been to Mamma Lucia's for dinner. The dishes are very tasty and the service is always friendly. A visit to Mamma Lucia is part of a Mittenwald holiday!

Went for location, reputation and popularity, but won't be going back. Service was frustratingly slow with restaurant only about 75% full. Was served bland mushy lasagna instead of cannelloni I ordered. Kept it to avoid waiting for staff to come by table and another thirty minutes of preparation time. Never got second beer we ordered.

Amazing restaurant. The food is great, the staff are super friendly, and it's reasonably priced. Definitely try the potato soup (kartoffelcremesuppe), it's to die for.

Great tasting pizza we asked to take out! And very good prices. We didn't eat there but the decor and ambience seemed like it would be a nice break for traditional Bavarian themes.

Tuesday evening.. Loaded with people.. The all female staff is friendly, pizza's are good and very well priced. Overall a nice clean, good food and friendly restaurant earning a five star rating with respect to price / value! Definetely a recommendation!

Best restaurant in Mittenwald and definitely a place you should visit - unless you hate pizza that is. Intrigued by its many positive reviews we were a little skeptical when deciding to go to the Da Mamma Lucia for lunch as it seems hard to live up to a reputation like that. Reality however hit us hard - Da Mamma Lucia is one of the most awesome restaurants we have been to so far, and that even though we usually aren't the pizza guys! From the freshly baked bread you'll get as soon as you sit down to the best pizza I have eaten so far in my life it lived up to each and every expectation though. The international team which seems to run the place has a lot of friendly and welcoming characters and the overall dining experience was just amazing. If you are only one day in Mittenwald and aren't going for the 'German Food' experience, Da Mamma Lucia would be my suggestion to you. If you stay even longer, just the more chances to pay it a visit ;)
